Charlie Angel ZX 16’

Charlie is a recent alumnus of the Zeta Chi chapter. As a transfer student, Charlie found Zeta Chi during his first semester at UAB in the fall of 2016. He would go on to join the chapter during that same semester. While in the chapter, Charlie served in various roles including recruitment chair, sergeant at arms, and president. He noted that each experience helped to grow and mold him into the person that he is today.

After graduation, Charlie went on to attend get his Master of Science in Health Administration from UAB – the number 1 ranked program in the US for this type of study. Concurrent with his didactic studies, Charlie was able to serve in various roles within UAB Health System – including spending time on the operations team at UAB Hospital - Highlands, assisting in the command center during the onset of covid, and spending time in the affiliate operations department. Most recently, Charlie served as co-project manager for the UAB Covid Vaccine distribution model. Chief among his responsibilities was to assist with the process for vaccinating employees and managing the vaccination of neighboring school systems’ faculty and staff. Charlie also served as the chapter advisor post graduation and was an integral part of the University/National/Chapter relations.

Currently, Charlie is the UAB Health System administrative fellow. In this inaugural role, he is blazing the way for future fellows within the system and tackling system wide initiatives.
